Sash horn windows preserve the classic look of wooden box-sash windows while maintaining the authenticity of any property.

They are designed to achieve the highest levels of weather-tightness and resistance to draughts.

Made to compliment our casement range, the sash horn window looks like a traditional sliding sash but performs as a casement - giving you the best of both worlds.

The high-security shoot bolt locking systems provide unparalleled protection against break-ins, and the windows can be customised with accessories such as Georgian bars for an individual appearance.

Thermally Efficient

Bypassing their timber alternatives, our mock sash horn windows are created using our market-leading uPVC profile. This means that they can achieve an A+ standard of thermal efficiency.

Our Liniar range is not only available in standard white but can also be personalised to match the style and colour scheme of your home.

Stocked colours are shown larger for reference – but if you’re prepared to wait just a little longer you can choose from the whole range in our colour swatch chart.

FAQ

What are mock sash horn windows?
+

Homesealed’s Liniar mock sash horn windows are designed to resemble traditional sash horn windows while providing modern functionality. The top pane opens outwards for improved safety for children and maintains the classic charm of sash windows while reducing maintenance and operational complexities.

What's the difference between sliding sash windows and mock sash horn windows?
+

Sliding sash windows are a traditional style, dating back to Georgian or Victorian times, and are usually made from timber - although there are now some uPVC windows manufactured with sliding sashes.

Homesealed’s Liniar mock sash horn casement window offers the appearance of a traditional sliding sash but has a top pane that swings outwards to open, instead of a bottom pane that slides upwards.

What makes Homesealed’s Liniar uPVC mock sash windows different to other brands?
+

Our decorative horn shape is machined as part of the sash frame itself, instead of being screwed onto the bottom of the pane, which helps to achieve a realistic appearance such as that found in timber sliding sash windows.

Are mock sash horn windows more cost effective than sliding sash windows?
+

Yes, generally the components and mechanisms required in both systems results in a mock sash casement window being more cost effective to buy and install than a sliding sash window.

Do mock sash horn windows offer good security?
+

A great choice for your home, Homesealed’s Liniar mock sash horn windows come with all the security accreditations found in Liniar 70mm and 90mm casement windows, achieving PAS24 and Part Q security standards along with being Secured By Design ready.
